How to Delete or Disable Windows Defender

Windows Defender can be removed using PowerShell, but it is not recommended as it is an important security feature built into Windows. Disabling or removing Windows Defender can leave your computer vulnerable to malware and other threats.

For short cut key: press windows logo(hold) + x

1. Open PowerShell as an administrator by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting "Windows PowerShell (Admin)."

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

Get-WindowsFeature -Name Windows-Defender

3. To remove Windows Defender, use the following command and press Enter:

Remove-WindowsFeature -Name Windows-Defender

4. You will be prompted to confirm the removal. Type Y and press Enter.

5. Wait for the removal process to complete, and then restart your computer.

It is important to note that disabling or uninstalling Windows Defender may leave your computer vulnerable to malware and other security threats. If you have another antivirus solution in place, it is recommended that you use that instead of disabling Windows Defender.

Also, this will disable windows defender permanently, if you want to enable it again you have to reinstall it using the command:
