If your computer is not producing sound, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the volume: Make sure the volume on your computer is not muted or turned down too low.

  2. Check the speakers: Ensure that your speakers or headphones are properly connected to your computer and turned on.

  3. Check the audio settings: Go to the sound settings on your computer and ensure that the correct audio device is selected as the default.

  4. Update drivers: If the above steps do not work, try updating the audio drivers on your computer.

  5. Check the audio service: Check if the audio service is running on your computer, if not start the service.

  6. Check the audio jack: If you are using an external audio device, check the audio jack to see if it is working.

  7. System restore: If your computer's sound stops working after an update, try restoring your computer to a previous date when sound was working.

  8. Run the troubleshooter: You can run the troubleshooter from the control panel to detect and fix any issues.

If none of these steps work, it may be a hardware issue, in that case, you should consider taking the help of a professional or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
